- Have you, or someone you care for recently used the NHS?
- Are you passionate about seeing improvements in Health Care?
- Do you want to help to improve the health of those living in Swale?
If so – the Swale Patient Liaison Group (PLG) would love to hear from you as they are expanding.
Swale PLG is a group of local people who act as ‘critical friends’ to NHS Swale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation that plans and buys most local health services. They work with patients, members of the public, third sector organisations and charities to help shape local health care; they ensure that our community is represented in planning and delivering NHS services.
They are inviting applications for new members to join their group. They welcome applications from everyone but are really keen to engage with people who feel that their needs are not met by current health services: people who live rurally, carers, young people, new mums and members from all diversity groups regularly tell us that they want their voice to be heard more often. If you feel the same way, please use this as your opportunity to get involved and make that change.
The group meets every two months. This is a voluntary role, however you will be reimbursed for travel costs and other out of pocket expenses as a result of attending the Swale PLG meetings.
To request an application form, please contact Toby Toms on 03000 425108 or email email@example.com
Applications can be returned via the email address above or by post to: Freepost RTEZ-GUZS-HJYY, NHS Swale CCG, Bramblefield Clinic, Grovehurst Road, Kemsley, Sittingbourne, ME10 2ST.
